Using Anthropic API Key in NeuronWriter

What is the feature about?

This feature allows users (Gold plan or higher) to integrate their personal Anthropic API key into NeuronWriter.
With your Anthropic API key in configuration, all functions using the OpenAI models will send requests with your own API key. This also means you won't spend the AI credits included in your plan.

Where can I get OpenAI API key?

You can find your OpenAI API key at your Anthropic account.
After accessing your account, generate your secret API key from the settings tab API keys.
Be sure to copy this key before you save it, as it will be required when linking your Anthropic account.

How can I add my OpenAI key to NeuronWriter?

You can add your personal OpenAI key by accessing your Profile at https://console.anthropic.com/settings/keys
And navigate the settings for AI writing.

Can users decide when to use their own OpenAI key/credits for each use?

It works on the basis of a "switch to".
Once you set your Anthropic AI API key, you switch to using the API credits by default, without consuming any credits from your plan.

What benefits does this feature offer?

This will enable you to use AI functions in NeuronWriter without plan's limitations and receive billing based on the usage of credits within the Anthropic AI API rate.

What features can I use my OpenAI API credits for?

All features in Neuronwriter that require AI credits will now use your Open AI account credits via an API key:

Content Designer
